Clarification regarding the Vaughn Anslyn matter

I spoke with several of you already after you contacted me seeking clarification on the matter in the Report of Arrests, Convictions and Other Matters for July 31-August 10, 2018. Please note the following:

Vaughn Anslyn of Ramsbury Site Nevis was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Firearm in October 2017. He had received bail in the sum of $20,000 with two (2) sureties shortly after. Mr. Anslyn had a court hearing regarding this matter on July 30, 2018 at the Basseterre Magistrate Court and failed to show up at the appropriate time. As a result, the Magistrate issued a remand warrant for him and he was taken into Police custody. He received bail on July 31, 2018 in the sum of $37,000.00 with (2) sureties and is scheduled to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on September 03, 2018. His bail conditions are that he is to surrender his passport, he is to report to the Charlestown Police Station every Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., and he is not to leave the federation without the consent of the court.
