CARIBBEAN WELLNESS WEEK 2018 IS SPECIAL TOPIC ON WORKING FOR YOU ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 05
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 04, 2018 (SKNIS): Chief Medical Officer in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hazel Laws and Non-Communicable Disease Programme Coordinator in the Health Promotion and Advocacy Unit at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Marisa Carty, are the special guests on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, September 05, 2018.
The discussion will focus on the upcoming activities set for this year’s Caribbean Wellness Week from September 08-14 with Caribbean Wellness Day being celebrated on September 08. Caribbean Wellness Week is an annual event which provides opportunity to increase the awareness of the non-communicable diseases burden in the Caribbean. The 2018 focus is on workforce with the theme “Maintaining a Healthy Workforce through Movement and Diet.”
Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.
The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide you with timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis.
