REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

 Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 05, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period August 29 – September 03, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Leon Samuel of Ponds Extension, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of House Breaking, Larceny and Receiving. The offences were committed on July 30, 2018 at College Housing, Basseterre where a house was broken into and a number of items were reported stolen.

Arrested: Jamal Pemberton of Bramble Crescent, Tabernacle was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Malicious Damage.

Arrested: Dexter Phillip of Bramble Crescent, Tabernacle was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Malicious Damage.

Arrested: Calvin Hicks of St. Johnson Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny which was committed on August 24, 2018.

Arrested: Craig Boston of Caunt Street, Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Simple Wounding.

 Arrested/Bailed: Aldain Daniel of Abbott Street, West Farm was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on September 07, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Alexis Decosta of The Alley Sandy, Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 04, 2018.

Bailed: Remeo Tweede of Kittstodart was granted bailed in the sum of $150,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 09, 2018 with the bail conditions that he is to surrender all travel documents and report to the Basseterre Station every Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Bailed: Cleroy Matthew of Bouncing Hill, Sandy Point, who was charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on October 01, 2018.

Bailed: Justin Augustine of Sand Down Road, who was charged for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, Driving Under the Influence and Refusing to Provide a Specimen of Blood, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

 Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Phillip’s Village, Democrat Street, Upper Cayon and Nisbett’s Settlement.
