NEDD TO BECOME A SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 30, 2018 (SKNIS): The National Entrepreneurial Development Division (NEDD) will be transformed into a Small Business Development Centre to better help small businesses move forward.

On the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, representatives from NEDD will explain why this transformation is necessary and how business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will benefit from the move.

The special guests will be Philip Browne, Director of Industry, Commerce and NEDD; Delwayne Delaney, Project Officer; and Daniel Richards, Marketing and Industry Officer.

The guests will also discuss how NEDD creates opportunities for small businesses to market their products and services, as well as training opportunities offered by the Division. Additionally, activities planned for the commemoration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 12-18) will be revealed.

This week’s programme will be hosted by Jacqueline Bryan. “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.

The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide you with timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WINN FM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3:00 pm and rebroadcast on Freedom FM, Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 am and 10:30-12:00 pm respectively, and CBN-Radio on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 pm.
