Man shot last night in Lower Monkey Hill

At about 1240am on 8/11/18 information was relayed to the unit of a shooting that took place at Lower Monkey Hill. As a result of further information No. 722 DC Caesar visited the JNF General Hospital. Upon arrival the ambulance came shortly after with a male identified as 32years old Ian Pemberton a Car Wash businessman of Lower Monkey Hill will multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Preliminary investigation relieved that the victim operates his car wash business in the yard of Dr Drew Constituency Office at Lower Monkey Hill.

The building is a two story building and from time to time the victim would sleep at the downstairs instead of going to his home. At about 1230am on 8/11/18 he was at the said downstairs looking out of one the window (a board throw back window) when an armed assailant came from throw a foot path by the building and fired a number of shots at him which catch him about his body. The ambulance was summons was transported him to the hospital. The scene was processed by W/C Clarke of the Forensic Services Unit and (3).45 she’ll casings were recovered. Dr Baz the attending physician indicated that the victim sustained 4 gunshot wounds. However there were a number of wounds on his body. One to the top of his head to the left side. One to the back of his left ear. One to the left side of his chest. One one by his left cheek and side of his left eye and two on the inner left thigh. Two bullets are Lodge in body. One by the abdomen area and one to the right side of chest. One Medical form was issued on his behalf. He is stable and will be warded at the Surgical Ward.
