Visiting Diplomats Tour St. Kitts Ramada Project as Construction Moves Apace

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Several diplomats from around the world, who are in St. Kitts and Nevis for the 2019 Diplomatic Week, have a greater sense of appreciation for the impressive scope and scale of the multi-million dollar Ramada Hotel being constructed in the Whitegate area, St. Kitts. Diplomatic Week runs from April 07 to 12.

On Tuesday April 09, 2019, a touring party of high officials including Ambassadors, High Commissioners and other representatives of Canada, the United States, Switzerland, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Bermuda, and several more, witnessed the advanced stage of construction at the 273-suite of Ramada Hotel.

The group was welcomed by officials from Caribbean Galaxy Real Estate Corporation and were showed various areas being developed under Phase One of the Ramada Project. The high officials saw that the designer’s vision for a unique international standard resort that embodies amenities for entertainment, business, residential and holiday making, was being realized. The spectacular views and enchanting natural environment made quite an impact.

The delegation of touring dignitaries was led by St. Kitts and Nevis High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Dr. Kevin M. Isaac. He was also joined by colleagues from St. Kitts and Nevis accredited to Canada and Cuba.

As the project moves into the final months of construction for Phase One, officials are excited about the expected economic opportunities to further expand the economy of St. Kitts and Nevis, thereby making a positive difference in the lives of persons residing in the Whitegate area and across the twin-island federation.
