CONSTRUCTION OF 603-ROOM RAMADA MOVING TOWARDS SEPTEMBER OPENING

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Caribbean Galaxy Real Estate Corporation today reported that construction of the second phase of the 603-room Ramada Hotel in White Gate is proceeding rapidly and that the facility is on schedule for its September grand opening.

Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris said at the recent Caribbean Investment Summit: “Investment agents from countries around the world were amazed at the high-quality infrastructure on St. Kitts and Nevis and the progress being made on major projects in the Federation.”

Dr. Harris added that the number of employed St. Kitts and Nevis residents will significantly increase as the hotel is staffed for its opening in September.  The spin-off activities generated by the new Ramada Hotel are expected to open up opportunities for tour guides, taxi operators, dining establishments, craft vendors and shops, Dr. Harris noted.

Phase II of the Ramada construction increases the size of the hotel from 273 to 603 rooms.  The completed facility will comprise nineteen structures housing a luxury clubhouse, garden villas, spa villas, condos, a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and a spa.  In addition, there will be a restaurant, pavilions that allow guests to enjoy the spectacular sunsets on the northern side of the island, and a water park.

Caribbean Galaxy Real Estate Ltd. is a hotel development company founded in 2014.  Galaxy is dedicated to advancing economic development in the Caribbean by developing upscale resort properties that will attract affluent travelers to the Islands they serve.
