CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS INTERCEDE FOR NATION AT 2ND ANNUAL NATIONAL PRAYER GATHERING
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 03, 2019 (SKNIS): Citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis attended the 2nd Annual National Prayer Gathering at the Zion Moravian Church on Monday evening, September 02, 2019, in a show of solidarity for the spiritual growth of the nation.
 
 
The service featured robust praise and worship, and intense prayers from officiating pastors and church leaders from the Christian community throughout St. Kitts. Over 25 special prayers were offered for the twin-island Federation, including for  youth, church, health, peace and security.

Members of the Federal Cabinet participated in the deeply spiritual event.

“It was a very good activity. I left there feeling blessed,” said Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris during today’s (Tuesday, September 03, 2019) Sitting of the Federal Parliament.

Other Cabinet members in attendance last evening were Deputy Prime Minister, the Honourable Shawn Richards; Senior Minister, the Honourable Vance Amory; Attorney General, the Honourable Vincent Byron.; and Cabinet Secretary Josephine Huggins.

The prime minister commended “the religious community for undertaking this very important activity in the life of our nation.”
