VHS News LINE 18th September 2020. The entire staff of the Verchilds High School gathered today for a short presentation. Our new Principal Mr. Meguel Thomas delivered some gifts from Mr. Samal Duggins a former student and teacher of the VHS and owner of Montraville Farms. The Principal read a letter to the gathering from Mr. Duggins which states the following:
Dear Educator,
On the occasion of the thirty-seven the anniversary of our Nation’s Independence, we at Montraville Farms take this opportunity to salute the teachers in the community that we serve.
We are particularly moved by the dedication you continue to show to our community’s youth notwithstanding the challenges posed by Covid-19.
As such, kindly accept these small tokens as symbol of our gratitude and admiration.
You are indeed the conduit through which true independence flows.
Wishing you, yours and our beloved Federation- Happy Independence!
