Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Low moisture levels and
low instability will limit shower activity across the region during the
morning. However, an increase in moisture and instability associated
with a low level trough will heighten the chances of showers and
thunderstorms across the region this afternoon and overnight.
Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 5 to 13 mm
or 0.20 to 0.50 inch.
Weather today: Partly sunny with a 40 percent or moderate chance
of showers during the morning; and cloudy with a 70 percent or high
chance of showers during the afternoon. There is also a 40 percent or
moderate chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
Weather tonight: Cloudy with a 70 percent or high chance of
showers and a 40 percent or moderate chance of thunderstorms.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Remnant moisture and instability
from a tropical wave will continue to heighten the chances of showers
and thunderstorms across Puerto Rico today. A settled atmosphere
prevailing over the island tonight will limit shower activity. A surface
trough moving into the Southern Caribbean will increase shower and
thunderstorm activity under mostly cloudy skies mainly across the
Windward Islands. Low moisture in the atmosphere over the other
islands including the British Virgin Islands, the Leeward Islands and
Trinidad and Tobago will restrict shower activity and keep the
chances of showers low.
