Update:House Fire in Bouncing Hill Sandy Point St. Kitts

At about 12:19hrs on 6/11/20 the Sandy Point Unit responded to a report of a house fire at Bouncing Hill, Sandy Point. On arrival, the unit met a one (1) storey, four (4) bedroom, wooden and concrete dwelling, fully engulfed in flames.

Water was used from the fire appliance to extinguish the fire, supplemented by hydrant pressure. Investigations revealed that the property was owned and occupied by Mr. Keithlyn Bergan and two (2) of his children, age 7 and 8. Mr Bergan reported that he secured his property at about 07:10hrs on today’s date and journey to work. No one was at home during the incident. The structure was completely gutted out. The cause of the fire is unknown. The Tabernacle Unit was presented at the scene. The Unit returned to base leaving all quiet.
