Reports from the Spanish Town police are that about 11am, a Toyota Hiace bus was travelling towards Kingston when it is alleged that one of the tyres blew out. The driver of the Hiace, which was being operated as a public passenger vehicle, lost control of the bus and collided with a motor truck before it overturned several times and crashed into the median.
Eleven other occupants of the bus were transported to hospital in serious condition.
