Four and two years demanded for Econo Supermarket robbers

The men implicated in the Econo Supermarket robbery of July 2019 entering the Courthouse on Wednesday.

PHILIPSBURG–The Prosecutor’s Office demanded four years in prison for R.A.C.F. (27) and two years in prison for D.D.K. (30) during Wednesday’s sitting of the Court of First Instance, for their involvement in the attempted armed robbery of Econo Supermarket in Cay Hill on July 4, 2019.

20 years demanded for suspected killer

A.Z.W. being led out of Court on Wednesday, when he stood trial for his involvement in a murder, attempted murder and two armed robberies.

PHILIPSBURG–In Wednesday’s sitting of the Court of First Instance, the Prosecutor’s Office demanded twenty years in prison for A.Z.W. (35), who stood trial for a host of alleged crimes including the August 5, 2018, murder of Jonathan Williams, an April 22, 2017, shooting in Maho, the July 7, 2017, armed robbery of Princess Port de Plaisance Casino, and the June 2015 armed robbery of a jewellery  store, among other offences.

According to reliable source a male was shot about two (2) times in Welches, one in his head and another in his back. Another person who was in the area was also shot but is hospitalized.

Wanted St. Kitts Cop Was Hiding On Redonda, Surrenders To Local Police

Police say the Vincentian police officer wanted for a sexual offence was hiding on Redonda.

According to reports surrendered at the St. John’s Police Station around 1am yesterday, Thursday November 14th.

The suspect reported to police that he left St. Kitts twelve days ago via a boat and was dropped off at Redonda, where he remained for approximately ten days before getting a boat ride to Antigua.
