The Ministry has been advised by the National COVI 0-19 Task Force and the Police of revised arrangements made for fishers for Tuesday 06th July, and Wednesday 07th July,2021.

Please note that Fishers are now allowed to conduct fishing activities between the hours of 5am and 6pm and night fishers are permitted to fish from 6:00pm to 5:00am.

It is required that ALL fishers notify the Department of Marine Resources (665-4191) or the St Kitts Nevis Coast Guard (465-8384) of their departure and return from landing sites.
Fish caught should be taken to the Basseterre Fisheries Complex or the Nevis Fisherman Marketing and Supply Cooperative on the days of full lock down.

However, fish not sold to these institutions should be properly stored by individual fishers and can only be sold on days of limited operation.

THERE SHOULD BE NO PRIVATE SELLING OF FISH ON FULL LOCKDOWN DAYS.

PLEASE BE GUIDED ACCORDINGLY!
