Buckie Got It, St. Kitts and Nevis News Source
We are here to present a donation to the Alternative Lifestyle Pathway Program, it is our civic responsibility to be responsible for each other, especially now in such trying times. We have seen over the last few months how our country and quality of life have been affected by the pandemic termed Covid-19. We would like to express our gratitude to the incumbent government, and the people by giving back to the community in any way that we possibly can.
This donation was materialized from the hard work of The Parson Ground Team, and in conjunction with the step program. One of the very first initiatives was the preservation of the grape trees along the island main roads in the community. In doing so, an idea created another idea which led to using the discarded wood to make something that’s still in high demand, which is coals, We hope that this donation can help our brothers and sisters who are presently going through difficult times.
At this time we would like to thank, Mr. Dwight Warde, who is the senior coordinator of the (ALPP). Mr Ward has always made himself available to render any assistance needed, and has always expressed his care and concern. We would also like to thank Lenworth Harris, Chief Executive officer (C.E.O) of the development bank of St. Kitts and Nevis. Mr. Harris has always been at the fore·front leading the way for the youths to have opportunities. He has created options for people who came from troubled backgrounds, to reintegrate themselves into society and become productive citizens.
Additionally, we would like to thank our beautiful and amazing, the Honorable Dr. Bernicia Nisbett, district medical officer, Senator, and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Senator Nisbett has been a pillar of support within the community, always taking the time to champion the cause of the constituency initiatives.
Last but not least we would like to express our sincerest gratitude, to the honorable Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris, Minister of Finance, Sustainable Development, National Security, People’s Empowerment, and Constituency Empowerment. This quote, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader”. This quote is a qunitcentiol example of the Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris. The initiatives that were created through proactive measures and keen decision making, have allowed the country to breathe, the young and lost to dream a future that seemed impossible, and brought crime in this country to a record-breaking all-time low where it seems that people don’t want to commit crime anymore.
