Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture and instability associated with the Inter Tropical Convergent Zone and a trough across the Southern Caribbean will keep skies cloudy to overcast with showers and thunderstorms across the Windwards south to Trinidad. Some lingering moisture from a tropical wave that has moved west of the area will maintain generally cloudy skies with a moderate chance of showers across the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Leeward Islands today. However, later tonight into Sunday morning across the Leeward Islands, the weather will become more active with showers, thunderstorms and storm conditions as tropical storm Grace approaches the area. The Leeward islands remain under a Tropical Storm warning.
