EMBASSY OF PORTUGAL IN CARACAS PRESENTS COMPLIMENTS TO FEDERATION OF ST. KITTS AND NEVIS ON AUGUST OCCASION OF ITS 38TH YEAR AS A SELF-DETERMINED PEOPLE

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 20, 2021 (SKNIS): As the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis celebrates its 38thAnniversary of Independence, the Embassy of Portugal in Caracas is wishing the Federation well.

In a message sent to Governor-General of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency S.W. Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, QC, JP, LL.D, the President of the Portuguese Republic, His Excellency Marco Rebelo de Sousa said: 

“On the occasion of the National Day of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, I would like to convey to Your Excellency my congratulations and sincere wishes for your personal well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.”

St. Kitts and Nevis became an independent nation on September 19, 1983.
