Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Today there will be partly cloudy skies, with periods of increased cloudiness and a 70 percent or a high chance of showers and a moderate chance of afternoon thunderstorms developing. Tonight will be fair to partly cloudy with a 50 percent or a moderate chance of evening showers, with these chances gradually diminishing as the night progresses.


Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A surface trough induced by the movement of Tropical Storm Peter, moving away from the area, along with light southerly winds, daytime heating, lingering moisture and instability as well as support from an upper level trough, will lead to a high chance of showers and thunderstorms across portions of the Leewards and B.V.I. today, gradually diminishing overnight. Elsewhere, across the Eastern Caribbean, skies will be fair to partly cloudy with a slight chance of a brief passing shower, as a high pressure ridge remains the dominant feature.
