WORLD FOOD DAY WEEK OF ACTIVITIES 2021

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources is gearing up to host an eventful week of activities, in commemoration of World Food Day on October 16, 2021, celebrated under the theme, “Our Actions Are Our Future – Better production, Better Nutrition, A Better Environment & a Better Life”.

We hope to partner with you as we set out to highlight how the food you choose and the way you consume it affects our health and that of our planet. We have quite an exciting week ahead of us and encourage you to be part of the change this World Food Day. Please indicate via email which event(s) you are interested in covering.

I also ask that you kindly assist the Ministry by sharing our calendar of events via your social media platforms and in your radio announcements/bulletin.

The activities scheduled to be held from 15-22 October include:
