MOE SETS TO REVISE THE NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHING AND THE SECTOR’S PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM
Basseterre, St. Kitts, Tuesday, November 02, 2021: Advancing in its mission to fulfill the 2017-2021 Education Sector Plan mandate for Programme Area 4: “Professionalizing the Teaching Force”, the Ministry of Education (MOE) will be hosting a consultation session on Thursday, November 04, 2021 at 1:30pm.
The virtual consultation session supported by the Organization of American States Development Cooperation Fund (OAS/DCF) will be spearheaded by Dr. Marcia Stewart and Mrs. Elaine Foster, members of the OAS/DCF consultation team.
Targeting individuals in senior leadership positions within the MOE, the one day session will focus on (i) revising the professional standards for the national teaching profession and (ii) revising the performance appraisal system for the education sector.
