The SKNFA is reaffirming its commitment in promoting grassroots football in St. Kitts and Nevis. This morning, SKNFA President Atiba Harris and 1st Vice President Shawn White attended a short ceremony at the Tucker Clarke Primary School in Newtown where the SKNFA and the Newtown Masters Team made a donation to the school’s football program and school’s classroom tiling project.

The Newtown Masters won a tournament held recently, organized by the Ministry of Constituency Empowerment. The prize money from that tournament will be used towards the classroom tiling project at the school, which was started by Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, the Member of Parliament of the area. The SKNFA donated football equipment to the school. The SKNFA will be making more of these visits in the upcoming weeks, as the association continues its drive to develop grassroots football in the country.
