Shooting incident in Nevis occurs close to the home of the Former Police Commissioner

Police here on Nevis are investigating another shooting incident this time in the Brown Hill area.

The incident occurred at around 11:25pm on Sunday 28th November 2021.

Information surrounding the incident is sketchy but according to the reports received by this media, two vehicles were involved.

Further reports indicate that the incident which occurred close to the home of the Former Commissioner of Police Calvin Fahie, saw two men who were traveling in one of the vehicles being shot at.

They were taken to the Alexandra Hospital and are currently receiving treatment for injuries sustained.

According to individuals residing on the island , gunshots could have been heard as far as Charlestown.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
