As part of efforts to strengthen food security for all, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources will be distributing free seedlings to Backyard Gardeners as of Monday 24th January.
These seedlings include cabbage, cauliflower, beets, broccoli, lettuce, string beans and sweet corn.
Backyard Gardeners are asked to register for the seedlings at the Department of Agriculture through its Crops Extension Division at 467-1841 or 467-1834.
Persons can also register through the St. Kitts Backyard Gardeners Association.
