I am proud to be leading a political Party that has a deep history of visionary leadership. St Kitts and Nevis is known as the birthplace of Citizenship by Investment. The programme was started in 1984 under a PAM Administration led by Hon Kennedy Simmonds– just a year after gaining our independence.
Today, 12 other countries have followed St Kitts and Nevis and have adopted their own version of Citizenship by Investment. The PAM Administration has not only demonstrated visionary leadership within St. Kitts and Nevis, but our ingenuity has been seen and adopted throughout the world.
Our CBI programme represents approximately 20% of our GDP. The programme helps to create jobs, sponsor public and private sectors such as healthcare, education, infrastructural development, and other industries.
36 years after implementing CBI, our programme remains the longest standing in the world, and is recognized as the Platinum Standard brand.
