LAPTOPS DONATED TO TYRRELL WILLIAMS PRIMARY SCHOOL

On Tuesday, July 6, 2022, Mr. Kendale Liburd the representative for The People’s Labour Party (PLP) in Constituency 4 donated two laptops to the Tyrrell Williams Primary School during their graduation ceremony. Mr. Liburd also donated two tablets and a laptop to students at the school, as part of their awards ceremony.

Mr Liburd, who conducts weekly tutoring sessions for persons living within Constituency 4 at the Old Road Community Centre has a passion for academics and personal development.
He spoke on the importance of education as a tool for social elevation and helping young people manifest their dreams. The laptops and tablets will enable children who may otherwise not have access to such devices to take part in learning activities within the ICT and STEM fields.

“I wanted a sports scholarship so I could study abroad, so I worked hard and made the most of my opportunities. Now I want others to have those same opportunities. So that they can broaden their horizons, and get the skills they need for a well-paying job or to start their own business,” said Mr. Kendale Liburd.

Thanks to the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. The Hon Timothy Harris, the PLP ‘Dream Team’ comprises well-rounded, community-focused individuals who are committed to service. A vote for Kendale Liburd will help to restore number 4, and work with Prime Minister Harris to deliver a secure future for all citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis, especially our children.
