Hon. Konris G M Maynard will represent SKN at the Statutory Meetings of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), the 45th Executive Council Meeting (EC45) and the 26th General Conference of Ministers (GC26) and other associated ICT events in the Bahamas.
These are critical regional meetings for the elections of officers of the Executive Council and the General Conference as the CTU prepares for the upcoming Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) later in September.
These meetings will also feature presentations and round-table discussions on the Migration to 5G regulation; the proposal to establish a single CARICOM ICT Regulator; and regulations for digital transformation, to improve connectivity and to reduce the digital divide.
