GERMAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONGRATULATES HON. DR. DOUGLAS ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS ST. KITTS AND NEVIS’ MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 26, 2022 (SKNIS): Germany’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Annalena Baerbock has congratulated the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis.
In a letter written to Dr. Douglas, H.E. Baerbock said:
“Our countries have a history of close and friendly relations. I am therefore confident that we will continue our close international cooperation in a spirit of solidarity as we work to overcome the global challenges we face in connection with climate change, the pandemic and the serious consequences of the war in Ukraine. In this regard, I very much wish to thank your country for its support by condemning Russia’s aggression against Ukraine in the United Nations and in CARICOM.
“I wish you strength, confidence and a sure hand for your new tasks in your Ministry’s wide-ranging portfolio.
