A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, led by the Honourable Samal Duggins, visited the St. Christopher Children’s Home – St. Kitts today (Tuesday, October 18) as part of their week of activities in observance of World Food Day 2022.
This visit was highlighted by the symbolic planting of seedlings to signify the start of a new relationship between the ministry and the Children’s Home where staff of the Ministry of Agriculture will help improve and maintain their greenhouse.
The Minister was joined by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Miguel Flemming; Mr. Ian Chapman, Crops Programme Leader; Agriculture Development Advisor, Dr. Tracy Challenger; Assistant Secretary, Mr. Kyle Flanders and other staff within the ministry.
