St. Kitts Welcomes Maiden Cruise Call of “Voyager of The Seas”
Basseterre, St. Kitts (12 November 2022) Congratulations to St. Kitts as it welcomes inaugural cruise call of the revolutionary vessel “Voyager of the Seas.” The vessel boasts of its guest capacity of 3,602 passengers and its 15 decks of exhilaration. The ship is ideal for adventure lovers as it provides twin-racer waterslides, a rock-climbing wall, a full-size basketball court, an ice-skating rink, and a Battle for Planet Z laser tag. The cruise ship was launched in 1998 and was formally named by Olympic figure skater Katarina Witt.

Marsha Henderson is delighted to welcome yet another inaugural cruise call to the destination. “Inaugural cruise calls continue to create excitement for our cruise industry workers. Our tourism industry is a key contributor to our destination’s economy, and we accept new cruise partnerships with open arms. I welcome Voyager of The Seas to our beautiful island with great pleasure. This inaugural cruise call comes after meeting the CEO of parent company Royal Caribbean International, Mr. Michael Bayley, as we discussed itineraries across the group’s brand for our destination,” said Minister Henderson.

Guests can experience a local rum tour at Old Road Rum based at Wingfield’s Estate, sip signature cocktails on our warm sunny beaches, or zipline through our lush rainforests. The destination continues to provide soul-stirring and timeless experiences for guests, encouraging visitors to venture deeper into an authentic Kittitian experience.
