Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba to Strengthen Ties in the Agricultural Sector

Basseterre, December 20, 2022- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba David Rivero Pérez and the Permanent Secretary of Agriculture of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Miguel Flemming, held a work meeting this morning, at the diplomatic headquarters, in order to evaluate new possibilities for agricultural cooperation.

During the meeting, they analyzed the prospects for the development of the collaboration between this Federation and Cuba, projecting short-term plans in which the Greater Antilles would provide, among other aspects, technical assistance.

Both parties confirmed their mutual interest in expanding ties in this sector and agreed to intensify joint actions, taking into account the development priorities of their countries’ economies.
