ILLEGAL FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED BY POLICE
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 13, 2023 (RSCNPF): An illegal firearm was taken into custody by the Police following a search that was conducted on a person at a business establishment in Lime Kiln on February 13, 2023.
During the search one (1) LCPS Ruger and five (5) 9mm rounds of ammunition with the magazine were found.
To date, four (4) firearms have been taken into Police custody. In 2022, a total of seventeen (17) firearms were taken off the streets of communities around the Federation.
