Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture and instability associated with a low – level
trough will maintain mostly cloudy skies with a mixture of showers and lighter rain over the
Windwards and islands further south today and into tonight. Some of the moisture associated with
the northern end of this trough will move northwards over portions of the Leewards beginning
later this afternoon. This, along with heating, could cause skies to be variably cloudy with localized
showers over these islands today and extending into the evening hours. Similar conditions could
take place over Puerto Rico and to a lesser extent, the Virgin Islands.
