ILLEGAL GUN RECOVERED IN SPOONERS, CAYON
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) have recovered another illegal handgun. The weapon was found on June 5th, 2023 between the hours of 2PM and 3PM during a routine mobile patrol and search along a road in Spooners, Cayon.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and found a bag concealed by household debris that contained one (1) .38 Special Revolver with a number of rounds in its barrel. The weapon was subsequently taken into Police custody for further processing.
Public cooperation and collaboration provide immense assistance with solving crimes. Community protection is impossible in the absence of community involvement. The RSCNPF is therefore making an urgent appeal to the general public for their assistance in this and all other matters involving the breaking of the law.
