Today Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew was joined by the Ambassador of Cuba to St. Kitts and Nevis in a short ceremony donating supplies to our beloved students in Cuba.
I am a Cuban graduate and fully understand the needs of our students to ensure that their stay in Cuba is optimal.
The shipment of the container was made possible through collaboration with the Prime Ministerโs Office, the Solid Waste Management Corporation (SWMC), the CARE Foundation, and other stakeholders within the private sector, as well as parents of the students.
I take this opportunity to thank the Government and people of Cuba for their continued support in our human development through scholarships.
