LODGE SUPERMARKET ATTEMPTED ROBBERY UNDER INVESTIGATION
The Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on October 6th, 2023, at “7 Days Supermarket,” situated along the island main road in Lodge, St. Kitts.
Initial investigations indicate that between 3PM and 4PM on the aforementioned date, a single assailant, masked and armed with a gun and dressed in black clothing entered the supermarket. The assailant accosted the business owner’s mother and demanded access to the cash register. The woman was unable to open the cash register and the assailant subsequently fled.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately abreast of its developments.
The RSCNPF reiterates the appeal to the general public for information on this and other criminal matters.
