Your Government continues to serve you through the implementation of key initiatives to help boost our economy and enhance the livelihood of our people. Within the short time since assuming office your Government has:
1) decreased interest on student loans at Development Bank to just 5 percent
2) paid economic cost for all students attending University of the West Indies campuses.
3) instituted small business loans at the Development Bank
4) improved and reinstated the one-to-one laptop program for children
5) established elderly daycare programs within various communities
6) began addressing the GAE workers’ pension
7) began the process of launching the Renal Transplant Program at JNF General Hospital
8) employed the highest number of specialists at JNF General Hospital
9) passed Integrity in Public Life
10) began the process of building a Climate-smart hospital
11) introduced new airlines (Caribbean Airlines, InterCaribbean Airways, JetBlue Airlines) to improve airlift to the Federation
12) started a housing revolution
