SYNERGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
On Friday I had two fruitful meetings with the Hon. Joyelle Clarke, Minister of Sustainable Development et al, and her team, to strengthen collaboration between our ministries. In the first meeting, together we discussed the intersection of the Creative Economy and Sustainable Development with my dedicated Director of the Creative Economy, Ms. Roberitine Webbe. We explored strategies to enhance sustainability and creativity for mutual benefit.
The second meeting, joined by Mr. Miguel Flemming, Permanent secretary within the ministry of Agriculture, underscored the crucial ties between the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives and Sustainable Development. Thus emphasizing, the importance of synergies between ministries in creating a sustainable island state. Together we are sowing the seeds to create a resilient nation and I’m looking forward to the fruits of our discussions.
