ST. PETER’S STORE ROBBERY UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION
The Police are investigating the robbery of Yern Hum grocery store in Lower Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s, St. Kitts. The criminal act was committed on January 15th, 2024, around2:30PM. Thus far, the investigation has revealed that two (2) masked assailants, one of whom was armed with a machete, entered the establishment and stole a sum of money from the cash register.
They then fled the scene on foot. The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into
the matter is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately abreast of its developments. Should anyone have valuable information concerning this and any other criminal activity, you are encouraged to contact the nearest Police station or call the Crime Stoppers’ Hotline, 707.
