Six Records have been broken at the 2024 TDC Interschool Championships

The 2024 TDC Interschool Championships continue to be one of the most historic events in the lifetime of track and field in St Kitts and Nevis as to date 6 records have been broken.

Join us in congratulating:

1. Mr Chesson Liburd of the Verchilds High School, new record holder for the Boys U18 100m Dash with a time of 10.68 seconds. The record was previously held by Wayne Matthew with 10.74 seconds in 2015.

2. ⁠Mr. Amaziah Barry of the Washington Archibald High School who jumped 5.28m in the Boys U14 Long Jump. The record was previously held by Zimarri Lewis in 2023 with a jump of 5.23m.

3. ⁠Mr. Khamarl Wattley of the Cayon High School who jumped 6.64m in the Boys U16 Long Jump. The record was previously held by Royden Peets who jumped 6.41 in 2016.

4. ⁠Ms Trishana Odonoughe of the Basseterre High School who ran 48.67 seconds in the Girls U14 300m hurdles. The record was previously held by She-Niah Samuel in 2023 who ran 49.37 seconds.

5. ⁠Mr Aldrett Nisbett of the CFBC who ran 10.64 secs in the Boys U20 100m dash. The record was previously held by Marcus Duberry who ran 10.71 in 2021.

6. ⁠The VHS 4x100m Under 18 Female relay team represented by Ms. Tyra Charles, Sanique Hanley, Nickia Doyling, Hyanne Adams. The team ran a time of 49.31seconds quashing the 49.75seconds set by the BHS team in 2023
