Notice: Changes to Holiday Schedule for Landfill and Headquarters Operations
Basseterre, St.Kitts – The Solid Waste Management Corporation wishes to inform the general public of changes to its operational schedule during the upcoming Easter holiday period.
On Friday, March 29th, in observance of Good Friday, both the Headquarters and the Landfill will be closed. Residents whose garbage is collected on Fridays are kindly requested to place their bins out on Thursday, March 28th.
The Landfill will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, March 30th, from 6am to 5pm.
On Monday, April 1st (Easter Monday), the Landfill will be open from 6am to 1pm, while the Headquarters will remain closed. Garbage collection in residential areas will continue as scheduled.
Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd.
These adjustments are made to accommodate the holiday schedule and ensure continued efficiency in waste management services.
