Prime Minister the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew to Join Distinguished Panel at 2024 Concordia Americas Summit in Miami Florida
BASSETERRE, Saint Kitts and Nevis, April 12, 2024 (Press Secretary, PMO) – Prime Minister the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew has been invited to participate in the panel for the 2024 Concordia Americas Summit in Miami, Florida. Now in its eighth year, the 2024 Concordia Americas Summit will provide the leading nonpartisan, public-private sector forum in the Western Hemisphere, bringing to the forefront the abundance of opportunities to embrace market-led solutions that have the potential to transform the region and advance opportunity.
The event will be held at the University of Miami on April 22-23. Accompanying Prime Minister Drew will be Her Excellency Jacinth Henry Martin, Saint Kitts and Nevis Ambassador to the United States of America.
Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m pleased to announce my participation as a speaker at the Concordia24 Americas Summit in Miami, Florida. Concordia is a leader in establishing public-private sector partnerships.”
In his capacity as a speaker, Dr. Drew intends to leverage the platform provided by Concordia24 to amplify the discourse on critical issues and to galvanize collective efforts towards sustainable development and inclusive growth. By engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders, he seeks to harness the potential of partnership-driven approaches to address complex challenges and unlock new opportunities for progress.
The 2024 Concordia Americas Summit will elevate the region in a global context, creating opportunities that take advantage of its untapped potential, with a focus on ‘Driving Sustainable & Inclusive Growth’ to include poverty, healthcare, education, youth, future of work, migration, environment, and energy transformation; and, ‘Strengthening Democracy & the Economy’ to include strengthening local democracies, rethinking social contracts, and the role of the private sector in local economies. Conversations will promote the discussion, definition, and implementation of impactful market-led transformations.
