ILLEGAL FIREARM & AMMO RECOVERED AT EAST PARK RANGE
On May 30th, 2024, between 11AM and 12PM, law enforcement officers recovered one(1) firearm in the area of East Park Range, St. Kitts. Police officers from the Violent CrimeUnit (VCU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) collaborated with personnel from His Majesty’s Customs and Excise K9 Unit to conduct a search of anabandoned wooden structure in that area.
The search operation led to the recovery of a KAHR CT40 pistol, accompanied by magazine containing seven (7) .40 calibre rounds of ammunition. The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the area, and the items were taken into custody. Presently, noindividual has been apprehended in connection with the contraband recovery.
