Our delegation arrived safely in Taiwan on Saturday morning for an official state visit, where we were welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Lin Chia-lung.
I will meet with the President, H.E. Dr. Lai Ching-te, on Monday, as our two countries continue to strengthen our bilateral ties and explore new pathways for cooperation.
Upon our arrival this morning, we immediately went to the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis to meet with nationals living and studying in Taiwan, as well as to personally congratulate the recent graduates.
I also engaged with members of the Taiwan media to discuss a number of critical matters.
