SHOOTING INCIDENT IN POND HILL UNDER INVESTIGATION
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place in the Pond Hill area on Nevis. The incident occurred on June 25th, 2024, between 5:30AM and 6AM and resulted in the death of thirty-two (32)-year-old Alexis Dennis Hendrickson, a resident of Pond Hill.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that Mr Hendrickson was confronted by two (2) armed assailants shortly after leaving his home. The assailants fired multiple shots at Mr Hendrickson, striking him several times and resulting in his death at the scene. The Crime Scene Unit technicians processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the incident is currently under way and updates will be appropriately issued when available.
