Donald Trump injured at rally, possible gunshots heard
According to multiple reports, Trump, who is running for a second presidential term, was rushed off the stage by the U.S. Secret Service and into a black SUV. Trump was bleeding from his ear and raised a fist to the crowd just as Secret Service members began walking him off the stage.
“Loud explosions or loud bangs,” according to CNN, were heard before Trump grabbed his right ear and got down.
“Trump was showing off a chart of border crossing numbers when bangs started ringing through the crowd,” an AP story reports. “Trump could be seen reaching with his right hand toward his neck. There appeared to be blood on his face.”
