BRANDON GOVIA AND DEQUAN DORE CHARGED WITH LARCENY
Basseterre, St. Kitts – July 19, 2024: Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal St. Christopher-Nevis Police Force, have concluded investigations in separate cases of Larceny and charges have been brought against the following persons:
- On July 11, 2024, Brandon Govia, 28, of Pine Gardens Shadwell was formally arrested and
charged on a warrant in the first instance for the offense of larceny. This offence was
committed on June 29, 2024. Govia was taken before the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court
where he was granted bail. - On July 19, 2024, Dequan Dore, 24, of East Street was formally arrested and charged with
larceny from the person, committed on June 18, 2024. Dore is expected to appear before a
magistrate at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court shortly.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force commends the diligent efforts of all officers
involved in these investigations and reaffirms its commitment to maintaining law and order and
ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
