Yesterday, a two-member delegation from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, made a courtesy visit to the Federal Cabinet.

The delegation included Dr. Alice Aiken, Vice President of Research and Innovation, and Dr. Rustum Southwell, University Chancellor and a native of St. Kitts and Nevis. Notably, Dr. Southwell is the first Black Chancellor of Dalhousie University.

During the visit, the delegation discussed opportunities for closer partnerships and collaboration between St. Kitts and Nevis and the University. These initiatives aim to benefit the Federation, particularly in our goal to become a Sustainable Island State.
