PHILLIP’S VILLAGE SHOOTING INCIDENT UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Phillip’s area of St. Kitts on September 19th, 2024, between4PM and 5PM.

Police responded to reports of shots being fired and spoke to a female resident of Phillip’s Village who reported that while driving home, a single armed assailant stepped into the road and fired a number of shots at her vehicle. One bullet penetrated the driver’s door, causing minor injuries to her feet. She was subsequently taken to the Mary Charles Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected several items of evidential value. The matter is currently under investigation, and the public will be kept appropriately updated with its developments.
