STATEMENT re: DRONE OPERATIONS DURING CARNIVAL CELEBRATIONS

As we eagerly anticipate the Grand Parade on January 1st, 2025, and the Last Lap celebrations on January 2nd, 2025, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wants to remind everyone of the importance of safety during our festive Carnival celebrations. In the spirit of protecting our community and ensuring a fun experience for all, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of drone operations in our Carnival areas. To help keep our celebrations safe, please observe the following guidelines:

No-Fly Zones:
Certain areas will be designated as no-fly zones during the Carnival. These include: – Parade Routes

  • All Police Stations
  • His Majesty’s Prison
  • Government Offices
  • Robert L. Brawshaw Int’l Airport

We ask that everyone respect these zones to prevent any accidents and ensure a secure environment for all Carnival-goers and participants.
