MINISTRY OF EDUCATION STATEMENT ON STUDENT RELATED INCIDENT AT WAHS
Basseterre: St. Kitts, Friday, May 09, 2025: The Ministry of Education is actively providing support in response to a student related incident at the Washington Archibald High School(WAHS) which occurred on May 8, 2025.
We are committed to ensuring that schools serve as safe environments for all students and staff. The Ministry of Education’s guidance counselling network will continue to provide support at the school level for all students and staff. As we navigate this sensitive matter, we express gratitude for the outpouring of public concern and well wishes. Let us continue to be empathetic and understanding about the family’s need for privacy. We ask that you extend the same consideration to the staff and students at the school.
